By the Ford was the CD recording debut of the Eynsford Concert Band.  Recorded in 1997, the CD was a culmination of four days of hard work at New Hall School in Chelmsford, Essex.  As has been the case on a number of occasions, the band turned to the expertise of leading professionals in the BBC Symphony Orchestra to help coach and prepare the band before recording began.
