Denis Wick can really be called one of the UK’s musical legends. He is famous for holding the position of principal trombone of the London Symphony Orchestra for over 30 years and playing with many of the “greats”. We were privileged to link up with the world renowned trombonist and educator Denis Wick for a weekend of training and development. Some of the results of this collaboration were seen at concerts in Sevenoaks and Dartford soon afterwards.
A weekend of hard work and fun for both the young and old musicians in the band. Encouragingly, Denis himself was impressed by the standard of the band, which has gained a reputation as one of the leading amateur musical groups in the South East.
