Meet your Committee

Chairman

Paul Gould

Paul joined the Eynsford Concert Band soon after it was founded and is now our longest serving member.  He has been our chairman for over 20 years and is proud to feel that the standard of the band is at an all time high and still striving for more.

Paul started playing the trombone at age 11 and has performed with various Orchestras and Brass Bands throughout the southeast, including the successful ten-piece brass group “Polished Brass” in the early 80’s.

When not practicing his Trombone, Paul is a loving 'taxi driver' to his 2 daughters, continuing with the second half of his 50 year home renovation programme or simply trying to get his golf handicap back!

Andy Mattison

Repertoire Manager

Andy joined the Eynsford Concert Band in 1985 and is currently our Principal Clarinettist.

As our Repertoire Manager, Andy has the unenviable (but very much appreciated) task of keeping track of over 3000 titles in the library we share with the Sevenoaks Concert band,  not to mention keeping the bands folders up to date and ready for each rehearsal.

After serving several years in the Royal Artillery Band at Woolwich, Andy has continued to play for a number of groups  including the Dartford Symphony Orchestra, Lewisham Concert Band, the Eynsford Concert Band and other small ensembles.
