On Saturday 29th June 2019, Eynsford Concert Band were proud to perform an Armed Forces Day Concert as part of the annual Household Division Music Festival at Wellington Barracks, London.
Armed Forces Day has become an annual opportunity for members of the public to show their support for the men and women who make up the Armed Forces community.
It was a privilege then to be asked to help celebrate the amazing work of our troops by being the first amateur civilian band to take part in the House Division Music Festival.
It was an honour to play a role on such an occasion, to perform again with members of the Band of the Grenadier Guards and to then receive such a warm reception from both the live and online audiences.
The band stepped up to the occasion and greatly enjoyed the experience, along with the many friends and family members in the audience.. an event that will go down as a milestone in our band’s history!
