Concert 3pm (gates open from 11:00am), Sunday 13th September 2026
Eynsford Concert Band is delighted to be invited back to Lullingstone Castle for another Summer Concert in the wonderful grounds of Lullingstone Castle and World Gardens.
The band was founded in 1972 by Robin O’Connell who lived at Lullingstone until his death in 1997. While the band didn’t perform at the castle often, many of the band’s members have very fond memories of band socials and “after concert” get-togethers in his apartments there. This year marks what would have been Robin’s 80th Birthday, so it is only fitting that this concert will be in his memory.
Bring a picnic and join us for a great afternoon of music in this beautiful location. Enjoy a varied programme of music with something for all the family – from pop hits through musicals and movies to the classics. A Refreshments Tent will also be open, but please bring your own seating/blanket.
Your ticket also gets you entry to the famous ‘World Garden’ where you can see horticultural delights from around the world.
You can read more about Lullingstone Castle here.
Tickets £14 with free entry for under 16s. Ticket price includes entry to the House and The World Garden. All proceeds will go towards the upkeep of the castle and gardens.
Available for purchase soon
House, Grounds and World Garden open from 11:00am and concert at 3:00pm (weather permitting).
NOTE: In the event that the concert is rained off, fear not: – all those who have purchased a ticket in advance will be entitled to Free Entry to The World Garden and grounds for the remainder of the season (End Oct 2026), including special events.

Directions by Road
All cars should go to the Tudor Gatehouse entrance via Lullingstone Lane through the village of Eynsford. Follow the brown signs to Eagle Heights and Lullingstone Roman Villa (an English Heritage property) along Lullingstone Lane. Lullingstone Lane will get very busy, so please plan to arrive early.
Cars and pedestrians (but not coaches) should continue on past Lullingstone Roman Villa (leaving the modern building that now covers the Villa on the right hand side) for 600 metres along the narrow Private Road towards the Gatehouse entrance. Outside the Gatehouse there is free car parking for our visitors ONLY. NB All cars should use the postcode DA4 0JA
Parking for the disabled will be reserved outside the main gate. There will be plenty of space for regular parking in the field opposite the Tudor Gate.
Directions by train
The nearest train station is Eynsford, and trains take approximately 50 minutes from central London. When you exit the train station turn left, and then when you reach the main road, turn left again and pass under the railway bridge. Do NOT follow signs for Lullingstone Roman Villa or Eynsford.
On the right hand side of the road before you reach the Lullingstone gated entrance (ROAD CURRENTLY CLOSED) take the turning onto the signed Green Public Footpath (opposite the recycling bank in the lay-by). Here you can walk via a rough track that brings you out at the Lullingstone Roman Villa. Turn left heading for Lullingstone’s Private Road leading up to the Gatehouse entrance. From Eynsford station to the Castle takes 10 – 15 minutes.
