A live performance of the hymn ‘Jerusalem’ by Eynsford Concert Band, recorded at the Space Sevenoaks on 25th April 2025.
Our performance is accompanied by a montage of images from VE Day itself.
In the first verse, we show celebrations from many different regions of the UK, highlighting the impact on families and the need to rebuild. In the second verse, our images are focused on the celebrations in the centre of London, featuring service people of the many nationalities who contribute to the war effort.
