Comedy at The Mick Jagger Centre

When the opening joke of the evening is “How many conductors does it take to change a lightbulb?”  (A: who knows…no one ever looks at the conductor!), then you know that things can only get better..

This was definitely the case on Sunday 17th April 2016 at the Mick Jagger centre Dartford and the result was a fabulous fun concert.

From silent movies to the Simpsons all aspects of comedy were explored.

Complete with cartoons, a fab singer (Sue Rivers), special guest dancers (Laura Cutts, Georgia Cullingham and Elise McNally) and great music throughout, we were kept enthralled by an entertaining and excellently produced production.  A complete entertainment package.

Singing in the Rain

I couldn’t say what my favourite was as I enjoyed it all, though The Stripper brought back fond memories of Christmas Days with Morecombe and Wise (look on YouTube to see what I mean), not to mention Del Boy and Rodney’s Batman and Robin sketch.

Batman

The buzz around the hall at the end of the evening was “I really enjoyed that”.   As always a great evening of entertainment.

Well done guys, can’t wait for the next one!
