The new General Data Protection Regulation (“GDPR”) came into effect on 25th May, 2018.
We take seriously our responsibilities to look after data and we are committed to protecting our members’ privacy. To help comply with GDPR, Eynsford Concert Band has created a Privacy Policy to explain how we collect, store and use personal data related to our members.
The Band uses personal data to manage the day to day running of the Band and to communicate with our playing members, alumni, regular deps and others closely associated with us.
When we talk about data and personal data in this Privacy Policy, we mean personal data which identify our members or which could be used to identify them such as their name, postal address and contact details. It may also include information about the instruments they play, their DBS certification and how they use our website.
The policy also describes how members are in control of the data we hold and what we do with it.
